You can live forever -- by creating a fund now or by leaving a legacy at the Community Foundation
Supporting the community through your will or beneficiary designations is an easy way to leave a planned gift and become a philanthropist.
Planned giving can be as simple as including a bequest to the Community Foundation in your will. You may leave a percentage share of your estate, specify the dollar amount, or designate the Community Foundation as a contingent beneficiary.
But planned giving encompasses much more than a simple bequest. With the goals of providing for your loved ones, reducing taxes, and remembering worthy causes, there are a variety of techniques available—with mutual benefit to you and your favorite charitable organization—now and in the future.
By remembering the community in your estate plan, you can make a real difference to our region’s future. Our Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have named Rochester Area Community Foundation in their wills or planned gifts. We thank them for their foresight.
