Donor Information
This scholarship was established to honor Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Watson. Mr. Watson taught at East High School for 35 years and was head of the mathematics department for 11 years. His wife, Helen, was a lifelong teacher who also taught math at East High School. They both viewed math as a universal language to form the basis of trust among all nations, races, and religions and believed that true achievement is measured more by progress than by success.
